Portfolio

This portfolio brings together handwoven textiles, wearable art, and material studies created over more than a decade of fibre practice.

At the Loom

These works explore colour, rhythm, and structure through handweaving on floor and table looms. Many pieces are woven slowly and intuitively, allowing pattern and texture to emerge through repetition and play. This section includes both finished cloth and moments captured directly on the loom.

Wearable Art

This body of work focuses on woven textiles designed to be worn on the body. Pieces balance function and expression, using handwoven fabric to explore movement, drape, and the relationship between cloth and wearer. Each garment is created as a one-of-a-kind textile work.

Handwoven Fabric

These samples and lengths of handwoven fabric investigate pattern, colour interaction, and material choice. Often created as studies or experiments, they form the foundation for larger works and ongoing series within my textile practice.

Process

Process images offer a closer look at the making of my work, from loom setup to in-progress weaving. These details highlight the slow, tactile nature of fibre art and the decisions that shape each finished piece.

Hand Spun

Handspun yarn is an integral part of my practice, allowing me to work from fibre through to finished textile. These yarns are spun with attention to texture, colour variation, and the qualities they bring to woven cloth.

Handwoven + Hand Spun

This work brings together my weaving and spinning practices, using handspun yarn as an integral part of the finished textile. Working from raw fibre through to woven cloth allows for a deeper exploration of texture, variation, and material character. These pieces reflect a slow, connected approach to fibre art, where each stage of making informs the next.
